We had our class on Saturday. It was long but I have to say it was very interesting. I learned about what to expect in the delivery room while Andy learned how to swaddle and change a diaper. I wanted to take a picture but he wouldnt let me. He did a really good job too! I had never seen the birthing video and it was a little bit scary. I'm just glad that part is over. Then I had my appointment on Tuesday. They said I am measuring small and will need to do another ultrasound in 2 weeks. Darn. :) I'm so excited to get to see how big she is and how she is laying in there. She is moving all the time so i'm curious what end is where. Andy will be going to that one with me for sure.
Then on Wednesday, I got an awesome surprise at work! I was called down to our conference room and when I walked in, I was shocked when everyone yelled Surprise! They had put together an awesome surprise shower for me. It was so great. It was decorated so neat with little onsies hanging across the ceiling and little baskets on the tables full of baby stuff. My office mate even made basket liners that matches my nursery. I felt so loved and am thankful to have such great coworkers.
Andy and I are almost done with the nursery too. I will have pictures revealing it very soon. We put up her name decal (huge pain in the butt, especially with textured walls) and hung our curtains. Everything is coming together so well and so quickly.
On a different note, we found out we are getting a niece on May 8th! We are so excited and can't wait to meet her. Bailey will have someone so close in age which will be lots of fun.
The cake was amazing!
This blanket was homemade. I can't wait to wrap little Bailey in it.
I know i'm going to need the diapers from the diaper cake but I dont want to take it apart.
My overwhelming gifts from my generous coworkers
One of the many toys that Andy registered for. He said he liked registering for Bailey more than he did for our wedding becuase it was fun to imagine what toys she would want to play with. :)
